Conference topics<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The main goal of the international scientific conference is to present an actual knowledge in the importance, safety and quality of milk and milk products on the level of national and foreign producers. The section of Hygiene of vegetable foods is also included with the aim of the safety, quality and processing. The poster session may also present current knowledge on health safety and quality of other food commodities.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Conference fee (we are not VAT payers)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Conference fee for active and passive participants (210 \u20ac<\/mark><\/strong>) includes the costs of organisation and technical support, renting of conference places and audiovisual equipment, publication and peer-reviewed electronic proceedings, translation of conference materials, simultaneous translation of lectures (only on May 15), dinner on May 14 (it is necessary to declare your interest in the registration form), lunch on the main conference day (May 15) and social evening. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lunch on Friday May 15 is not included in the conference fee.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Conference fee for the company presentation (410 \u20ac<\/mark><\/strong>) includes the above-mentioned organization costs (for one person<\/strong>). Each additional person thereafter is subjected to the registration as active or passive participant and pay the conference fee. Each person, who will participate in the conference under the fee for company presentation must submit the online registration form individually. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cancellation made after this deadline and later will be subject to a charge of full registration fee and the conference fee will be not refunded. Guidelines for active participants<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Active participation in the Hygiena Alimentorum conference is possible in the form of an oral presentation (lecture) or in the form of a poster paper. The output of the conference will be an electronic peer-reviewed proceedings with ISBN<\/mark><\/strong>, which will contain contributions of active participants, lectures and poster papers. The proceedings will be published on-line and distributed to all registered conference participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Manuscripts of lectures or poster contributions to the electronic proceedings must be prepared according to the following guidelines:<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Manuscripts in English language write in text editor Microsoft Word, font Times New Roman 12, margins 2.5 cm, A4 format, 1.5 line spacing; pages not numbered.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Title of manuscript: align text to centre, capital, bold.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. The names of authors: without degrees, align text to centre, bold, write the omission of one line.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Author’s address: align text to centre, italics. Footnote the affiliations of authors from different departments using superscript letters.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Abstract: align text to the edges; write after the omission of one line.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Key words: max. 5.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. Subheadings of paragraph, images, charts, tables: align text left, all signs large, bold.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  8. Paragraphs: align text to the edges, followed a typical structure for scientific papers (introduction, materials and methods, results and discussion, acknowledgement, references and contact address).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  9. Figures and tables placed in the text, title above the table and under the figure.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    For the preparation of the paper, it is also possible to use the template, which is placed on the conference website. Manuscripts of the lectures or posters will be peer-reviewed and those that do not meet the guidelines will be returned to the author for revision. The organisers reserve the right to select and reject the contributions. Contributions should be submitted by e-mail <\/i> hygiena.alimentorum@uvlf.sk<\/a><\/a> at the latest April 17, 2026<\/mark><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    GUIDELINES FOR POSTERS<\/strong>
    Active participants, who choose to participate with a poster paper, in addition to publishing their paper in the electronic proceedings, also present their contribution at the conference in the form of a poster, on a multimedia touch screen. The poster presentation should be prepared in PowerPoint and must include at least a title with the authors’ names, the department and a contact e-mail address. The size requirements for the poster are width – 60 cm and height – 80 cm. Conference participants with a poster are expected to be present at the multimedia screen during the poster session (according to the conference programme).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Posters should be submitted in PDF format by e-mail to <\/i> hygiena.alimentorum@uvlf.sk<\/a><\/a> no later than May 3, 2026<\/mark>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    GUIDELINES FOR LECTURES
    <\/strong>The time for the plenary lecture is 25 minutes<\/mark><\/strong> and for lecture is 15 minutes<\/mark><\/strong> in Slovak, Czech or English language. The time for the oral presentation is strictly limited to the time limit according to the program.<\/strong> Please bring your presentations on USB key. A member of the organizing committee will arrange downloading of your presentation and setting up of the audiovisual equipment before each block of lectures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
